Tail light
Sorry Guess I was a little vague. I run a sign shop, the original decal is just a vinyl die cut decal, take out the old, put in new decal, pretty simple if you have the equipment....

Verification from any of the members that have had that piece apart?
I always thought the plastic itself was etched differently, hence the (ridiculously) high price of the Japanese center bar... If this guy's for real, I'd defineatly be interested in this, so long as it looks good as new.

I have a center section taken apart here...the "SVX" is on a seperate clear piece that just lays between the lens and housing.....the only problem I can't find a good way to remove the old "SVX Subaru" words without damaging the clear piece (very thin clear plastic) and it has a dot matriz pattern at teh top and bottom that makes it neccesary to match up to the tail lights, so you can't just replace the clear plastic, without replicating the dot pattern also.....
I'd take some pics...but I've got to go to my daughter Sommer's wedding in a few..

Sounds pretty cool, I have the plastic piece out of a tail light somewhere, I was at the junkyard once back in the day and I found and SVX that had been rear ended and I yanked the plastic out if the center bar cuz it was broken.
I'd like to see a decal of the logo that's on top of the engine...

Thanks for the info, Huck. Even if this particular person can't do it, perhaps I could get my hands on an extra one, and take it to a sign place, see what they can do with it.
That's a really good idea, Hondasucks. I didn't even think about it - I wonder if there would be room enough to do it? It might looks squished due to the lack of height available.

Some have used non-acetone nail polish remover or a baby-oil type product to remove it. It is basically silk-screened onto the surface of the plastic and should not be hard to dissolve and remove. .
