Would YOU stick your finger up a constipated dog's butt? Not the brightest of ideas, hey just like the Mac! See? I kept my post on topic.

i sure love ambiguities . use them all the time for my evaluations . that way if something isn't right, i have a hole to dive out of .

Uh huh...if he can admit that it's obvious from his article that he prefers Macs, how can he possibly say that the same article is 'mostly objective?' And if it's only 'mostly' objective, then doesn't that leave a lot to question?

Edit: I flipped through the guy's conclusions, and he seems mostly reasonable. He does admit that his scores are meant to be a 'starting point' for discussion. Some of his conclusions do beg to be further discussed.

But I won't be the one to continue the discussion with him. I have heavy PC inertia - and there's no reason for me to try to overcome it.
I've read almost all of it, and in some cases, I think he's being a bit too kind to windows XP, just so he can be 'fair'. To all the doubters, read the page. It's all pretty accurate, and it seems very very reasonable. It also backs up most things I've been talking about.

Can we please get back to the topic of this thread? Constipated dogs, Doug's fetishes, Chris's girls, and my hijacks?

Well, that right there discredits him in my opinion. If his findings suggest something, it's irresponsible of him to alter those findings to make them more palatable.

But in the end we're talking about an entirely subjective assessment of two operating systems, written by a guy who prefers one of them. Since you share that guy's bias, of course his opinions 'back you up.'

In the end, I agree with Harry. I'd rather discuss Doug's constipated dog.
