mat.....

you may want to start by getting you fuel system (injectors) cleaned, fuel filter replaced, and even get your throttle body cleaned. i had mine cleaned and soot and a little black smoke appeared for about a week. the car was just spitting and burning up the gunk i guess. after a week in stopped and i must admit my throttle response is good. i would start there and see if response gets any better before i would dive into the other stuff. damn i sound like eddycat.......it must be getting late!!!

I'd like to note, for those who havn't seen 1994SubaruSVX car, the pictures simply do not do it justice.

It's no where near as cool unless you're standing beside it.

thank you lobo....

i really appreciate the compliments. you guys must know that i still do love the svx bone stock. if i didnt i would have never bought the car. i have only modified it to suit my own tastes and therefore it is perfect under my own perception. i dont want anyone to ever get the impression that i think unmodified svx's are ugly!

Leo. You know that I like "stock." But, "personalizing" one's automobile is certainly acceptable, at least, to me. I may try to explain why and how trying to modify the SVX is, in fact, trying to make changes to something that was never intended to be changed, but, I won't "pummel" anyone for doing it. I've told you that I like the looks of your car, and it goes like "stink," and it looks good on you. It wouldn't quite "work" with an "old fart" like me.

This, of course, is the age of "tolerance." One thing I've learned about being "tolerant," and that is: to truly be tolerant, you must also be tolerant of the intolerant.

Now you've gone too far, Aredub . . . I simply refuse to tolerate remarks like that!

Let the pummeling continue . . .

Boy, that's great to hear....when I show up at the next meet with my new 6ft high, bright yellow, biplane wing grafted on the back....well, it's nice to know I will still be accepted...

Ummm . . . sorry Don, but "6 ft high, bright yellow, biplane wings" are universally accepted as grounds for severe pummeling/beatings!

First of all, keep your Vulcan cannons to yourself. Second of all, "tolerance" does not necessarily equate to "acceptance."
