NH: WTB stock radio DIN cage and door, speedo sender

The SVX I bought had an aftermarket radio in it, and the dash was all kinds of hacked up to install it (I'm talking drywall screws, plywood, dremel, and pieces silconed together kind of hacked up). Don't get me started on the hack job done to the wiring, to include both antenna wires having the connectors chopped off and about every wire is connected with butt splices.



In any event, I want to try to restore the factory radio area, and figure I can do it with the DIN cage and the cover door, though I may need more and wouldn't mind buying the radio/cd to pass along to someone else if I have to. I don't care what color the door ends up being, as all the trim will end up being painted, as most of it is covered with fake CF and it ate the wood finish underneath.

I am also looking for the 3 wire speedo sender from an stock auto tranny, as the 5MT swapped into the car is from an Outback is a 2 wire sender, and I have a CEL and no PS because of it.

Any help would be most appreciated!

Ask in one of the parting out threads. There are always a few, so that's your best bet.

I can help with the wiring if you need when it comes to reinstalling some kind of stereo since I'll be fighting that battle soon too. I might be able to part with a radio/door cage too, but I won't know till I take apart the stereo in my new SVX which won't be for a while. Try and get one with bad finish since you're going to be painting it anyway - save the good ones. Probably cheaper too.

The radio wiring shouldn't be too terrible- I'm getting the forward and reverse harnesses and the antenna extension, and will work on repairing the wiring damage. I'm worried that even with the cage and door, I'll have to do some finagling to get things back closer to OEM.

I've message a few folks in the partout threads, but haven't heard back as of yet. Thanks for the ideas!
