Now what are the chances of that, my friend?

Seriously, they arrived Friday, and they're even lovelier than the pics!! Gads packed them carefully, deserving a BIG Thank You!! I'm very much looking forward to seeing these beauties gleam between the spokes of my Black Chromes!

Glenn

Re: FS: Newly Rebuilt Black Powder Coated SVX Calipers

Hey Gads,
I know you won't believe it, but I have started the installation of the calipers!! I found, however, that the crossdrilled rotors I had gotten from R1 Concepts on EBay had micro-cracks between the drilled holes. So I am ordering more rotors so I can proceed.

I love the calipers. Take a look at my progress at:
http://s222.photobucket.com/albums/d...%20Jan%202010/

I will continue to post as I go (after receiving the new rotors) ..
Thanks again for the beautiful calipers!
Harry

Re: FS: Newly Rebuilt Black Powder Coated SVX Calipers

Gads,
The calipers are installed and look great. All that I have left is to bleed the brakes....... BTW, is there anything special to consider with the ABS when bleeding the brakes?

Check out the progress and how they look in BLACK at:
http://s222.photobucket.com/albums/d...%20Jan%202010/

Thanks again for the great job on the calipers ......
Harry

Harry,
according to the shop manual, you should bleed the ABS box first and then go to the passenger's side rear caliper.

p.s. you're killing me with your garage!

Thanks, Bill. Gott'um done and ready for Reading XI now. Fortunately my neighbor helped out, considering my two very bum fingers. Couldn't have done it without him!

Thanks, re the garage. Yep, it's comfortable, and I really enjoy it. The 25,000 BTU heater ain't bad either, especially lately ..... You'll have to visit for a beer - the fridg is full, always!
