Whew. I was going to suggest an engine block warmer, not like you are in Norway or anything, but figured if you were hell bent on lint in your radiator....

Cool Re: Keep 'um warm

I'm working on one for this winter. I'm making a small box that fits over the grill, and then running a hose from it to the dryer vent on the side of the house. This winter when I get up, I'll put the dryer on "air dry". A half hour of that should do the trick........

....if the radiator doesn't clog with lint that is.... Don [/B][/QUOTE]

I plan to replace the tranny fluid with Snuggle, for those really soft, smooth shifts.

Nostalgia quiz for 'ya, Randy.

What product first mentioned B.O. as part of their ad campaign?

Stinky-Ron.

Gosh, Ron, that was a long time ago. I'm stuck between two products . . . . the one I choose will probably be the wrong one. I believe it was Ban Deoderant, using the BEEE OOOOHH as the sound of a fog horn.

Very good, Randy. You're right about the fog horn, but it belonged to Lifebuoy soap. My guess is the late '40s-early '50s.

I think Ban deodorant (roll-on) was introduced in the late '50s. The joke was, " Mr. pharmacist, I need a deodorant". "You want the spray kind, or the ball kind"? Nah, just for underarms, thanks".

Sniffin' the pits, Ron.

Reminds me of a story about a friend of mine from Eastern KY. He was in the back seat of his car with his date at the drive-in movie. They began to "get romantic." Suddenly, he felt something fall out of the girl's sleeve. It was a "Five Day Deoderant Pad." The girl thought you were supposed to put them under your armpits and have protection from wetness and odor for five days. No lie.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

So now you know the truth, Kelli.
I'll bet when you saw three middle-aged white guys standing around holding stemware with pinkies raised, speaking in hushed tones, you thought they were discussing mutual funds, fox hunts & golf scores?
Nah - we're talkin' about boogers.

Ron.
