I'm thinking the car had a tranny issue, So it was sold for the cash for clunkers program, and I'm stripping it before its crushed. Its what I've been doing for a living since I've been laid off. What do you need off the car? Lots still on it!

I would have considered matching the 4500 for the car when it was whole. The 97s are rare.

Cash for clunkers only took effect on the first. That was quick.

Too bad someone couldn't fit a new transaxle to the 97, and put it back on the road, if all that was wrong was the gearbox, and the body/chassis is still intact.

97s are rare enough, without having them crushed for that reason.

I am still putting my parts list together, but I think most of them will be from the 92... but a lot of it will depend on what $$$ I get for the motorcycle I am selling, above and beyond re-cashflowing the 1k$ that I paid for the SVX that I just rescued from the crusher.

ok, I know this is kinda harsh, but if you guys say you want something and don't pay within 7 days, I'm have to consider that you changed your mind. There is a few parts in particular I'm talking about where I've had 8 people ask about them, and I've given the first guy a week, and no $ has come this way. I don't want to be an ass or anything, but I kinda gotta keep the parts moving or they build up on me too quick.
btw, anyone looking for Jetta parts? I have a 99' Jetta in my area now and I gotta push one of these SVX's out in a few days.... So Hurry with the parts requests! Especially the 92' w/ the dark wood grain and black int!

95% of engine parts, engines are going to be out on Friday.
Both Radiators. I know the 97's is MINT
Seats from the 97, as well as most of the int. Only missing a few things
Headlights from the 92' but they will need a lot of work, tail lights from 92' pass side has a stress crack
Pass side front corner light
92 has alarm mod? not in same spot as 97....

Big items gone:
Sun visors!
97 Headlights
97' tail lights
97' grill!
1 alarm mod out of the 97
