CONFIRMED today! IceBreaker A-X!!

The First Auto-cross of the 'local' season is the IceBreaker. It will be at the Cumberland Airport on May 3rd and 4th. There is also a car show scheduled that weekend at a location 5 miles away.

All weekends that had an autocross last year will be having one this year. The only thing that has changed is the Hillclimb has been moved 1 week later, due to scheduling conflicts.

I have been assured that the website will be updated over the next few weeks.


6 autocross weekends in Cumberland.. Can we say 'mini-meets'??

Can we say 'SIGN UP' lists?? Can we CONVINCE the Mini-meet KING and Queen to offer a 'plan'?? ( HI, Tom and Di!!)

THE FIRST sat and sunday in may, WHATEVER the number is. The following weekend is Mothers day, so it NEVER happens then. I will be signing up (a) subaru for sunday, since I will be at the car show on sat helping out.

I signed up for sunday.. ( BUT), I will be driving my 65 formula 'S' Barracuda that day!! I feel the need to get back to my 'ROOTS', which are MoPar!!

I was down on the farm and noticed that the tags expired in '00' on the Barra-tuna! I started getting the 'itch', so I hauled that rascal home to get her cleaned up! They might have to close the course down to sweep off the chipmunk poop when I drop the hammer, but some things are worth it!

Yep. I have to remember to wear their reflective vest so I am protected if a car runs off of the track and hits me. I never realized how durable they are. That mesh material is practically bulletproof!

Mopar update......

Amie and I took her out for a 'shakedown' cruize last night. We took her to the carwash and spent $3.00 on 'Quality time' with high pressure wand!
I got rid of 2# of mouse poop, 10#of mud from the frame and wheel wells, ETC!! She has new brake lines and fresh primer.
I drove her to work today and stopped by OT's after work.
The biggest problem I had today was the back tires kept slipping when I hit the gas!! (A problem that I NEVER have in a Subi)

Other than the 'stale gas' smell that I hope to have burned out soon, I am down to changing fluids and tires.

I REMEMBER why I parked it!! I had a hard time CONTROLING myself when I drove it!!

This is the FIRST time I will be able to PLAY with it without checking the MIRRORS!!

As usual, the SVXfiles bed-and-breakfast is open for business (AFAIK) . That is, unless we need to drive to Cincinnati to pick up more SVXi.
