That's not good cash, friend.. I know for a fact you could make more working at WalMart as a cashier or in electronics.. Hell you can make plenty being an overnight stocker in food...

Guess the point I'm trying to make is you can get a better job fairly easily if your persistant.. Start applying..

Re: probably getting fired.

Pizza driver. Seriously. If you have access to a vehicle that you won't regret driving into the ground, pizza delivery is actually a pretty decent job. You make a nice chunk of cash every day, you get paid regular hourly wages as opposed to tipping wage, and you get paid to drive around in your own car and listen to music all night. Stress on the beater car though. DONT deliver in your SVX

That changes the rules a bit then I'd love to be able to work part time slinging pies and wings, but there's no way I can afford to start replacing parts on my car once they begin to drop like flies.

Agreed 110%, this has always been my fallback job. On some fri and sat nights id pull in easily 80-100 bucks tips for a 5 hour shift, plus my wage and free food. But that was in my $800 honda accord, and I killed it

Re: probably getting fired.

Hey, i've stayed there! It's a really nice hotel, except in 2006 when they were doing renovations on the floor above me, and were jackhammering at 6am every morning. I was pissed but the people at the front desk were dicks about it. I complained but they ignored me, so my vacation was ruined. Plus, those damned cart jockey's won't let me use the cart to take my crap to my room, they must escort me. i don't feel like waiting 30-45min for someone to bring my crap to my room, i have 2 arms and 2 legs, and they can push a cart.

Strikes one and two were your fault, there's no getting around it. Your job may not be to motivating to you, and if so, let someone else have it. I'm sure there are dozens of people that would take it. Strike 3 was a judgement call, but wouldn't need to be worried about if you had made sure you did things right the first two times. People that ***** about their jobs have no leg to stand on. Don't like it, get another one. IMO employment is a priveledge, you get paid to perform a function. If you do not, there are others that will. The cleaning crew at my office was *****ing about not having full benefits. So the property owners fired them all and hired a band of mexicans that did the job happily. Then the origional crew picketed the office, and were soon removed by police. They do not have to employ you, it is not a right. It is a privledge, and if people don't like it as it is, seek employment elsewhere. My job may have it's ups and downs, but I consider myself lucky I have a job, not only that I'm good at, but pays decent and I occationally enjoy. The sooner you take it for granted, the sooner it's gone.
