Sighting!!!!!

i saw 2 pearlies today!!!! one was down in town, it was at a shop so i stopped and checked it out, the interior wasnt as nice as mine, it has 122k miles, ouside looked pretty good, about like mine, not mint, but nice. then on i was turning onto my road about 15 miles later and there was another! didnt get a very good look, but i was tempted to turn around and chase it down haha. ive never seen any up my way except for a teal one that someone my parents work with drives. i wonder if the one i saw by my house lives out here or was just visiting. ill have to keep an eye out!

Pulled up at a traffic light this afternoon, looked over at the car in the left turn lane, and it was a burgundy/claret SVX. Rolled down the window, he put his down, said "Yeah, these are pretty rare," made his turn and was off. Car had Washington plates, driver was in his '50s and had a mustache.

The only time I have seen one driving around is when I went to test drive the one I bought in Portland. And I remember seeing a red one about 5 years ago. I remember thinking... WTF

I'm surprised I haven't seen yours rollin around Corvallis. (The guy who changed your oil @ John & Phil's sent me a picture and was braggin he got to do the oil change cuz it was my day off lol) There's like, one other pearlie in Corvallis, maybe three, not sure. I've seen one parked offa Harrison by Kings, one like a block off 5th street, and one sits up by me, on London offa 36th.. But the first two might be the same car, and the third one I've never seen move. There's a nice black one with chrome wheels I've seen around once or twice (My wife's seen in more than once parked @ LBCC) and there's a green one that shows up at LBCC from time to time.

I think I need to print up some waterproof SVXWN business card things and stick 'em under the wiper if I see one parked... Too many SVXes in Corvallis for only two of us to be on the board :-P

(If you spot a Pearlie, mine is kinda easy to spot, has Crater Lake plates and SVXWN decals in the front windows.)

Saw this blue SVX in walmart parking lot in Lisbon, CT. First one I've seen besides my own since I have been stationed here.

lol I saw another SVX today, one I hadn't seen before, laguna blue with big azz wheels (Pretty sure it was Davestone), I wasnt' in my SVX though I was doing a PDI on an 08 Impreza, was like two cars behind ya all the way down Buchanan, and down Kings (except I turned on Van Buren to go back to the dealership)

yeah that was probably mine. I was around campus today and my wheels were pretty big. I just got smaller tires today and they fit much better. But yea I don't think theres another Laguna in town.

lol I know it was you, cuz I highly doubt there is another Laguna in town, let alone one with aftermarket wheels! Come to think of it, all the SVXes I've seen rolling around Cornwallis have the stock wheels on 'em.

I had just pulled out of the dealership, and was crossing the tracks in front of the GM dealer, and I was like "OOH!! SVX tail lights!" so rather than doing my put-5-miles-on-the-new-car loop, I followed ya, and I changed lanes where it goes to 2 on Kings, cuz I thought you'd turn on Van Buren so I could get up next to you and wave, but then you went straight lol...
