DMI Inc Scranton PA?

Has anyone had service done at DMI Inc on Main St. in Scranton PA?

I hear lots of good things about the place.

My tranny is caput. I could drive the care down there though.

It shifts from 1st right to 3rd, like the break band is to wide. I cannot tighten the band anymore though, as the nut is pretty much all the way down with no resistance. This is the situation after more then 1 year of worsening slippage in 2nd and a lazy shift from 2nd to 3rd.

I'd like to swap a 4.44 in there and was wondering if this shop could do that.
I guess I should just give them a call, but figured I'd ask here first.

Is that the place on a corner where the street that comes up to main is a decent hill??

If so, I think that's the place Michael uses and is happy with. If he doesn't see this, send him a PM to verify.

If you want to tackle this on your own and have a decent work place, I could probably be talked into helping...

I do have a garage. No lift. It would have to be done with jack stands.

On the plus side, I have all the time in the world.

I'm OK when it comes to wrenching, I do simple stuff myself, breaks, fluid change, the occasional half axle, etc..

I'll PM Mike.
