I cant wait for a similar movie like fast and furious that blew up the supras popularity to put our cars on the map where they belong. I dont think this will be that movie though.

I thought K.I.T.T. would always be a GM @ heart

I find it hard to swallow that statement. The Bible has changed so many times by so many different writers hands, who are they to be the ones to know His intentions (again, another thread, another time)?

Dont get me wrong, I am not a deeply religous person. In fact, I find that churchs are most times more political and corrupt than actual politics. Who knows, maybe it was just worded poorly and thats why it strikes a chord with me. Maybe when I see a preview, I will see this in a different light.

I dont really have the desire to go any deeper than this into this topic, I am very happy for you, and what you have done here. And I dont mean to diminish that.
I suspect that your problem might be that marriage is between a woman and a man. And of course mention of God in any way to any secular far lefter is offensive. Don't confuse politics with normal human behavior and acceptable norms in our country.

Wrong on all accounts, but thanks for playing.

As I said, no more to say.

Chris made it clear his intention was not to offend, and apologized. I accepted that and moved on.

Everythings cool- OK?

Like I said, I am interested in his perspective, but it's not something he wants to pursue. I'm OK with that.

i wrote a movie where a scene involves 2 different parties trying to track the main charicter's svx, though highly modified (it jumps a drawbridge and out accelerates a government pursuit vehicle) it would take up a good 15 minutes of footage on its own, including a drive-through window scene and a scene where the main charicter holds a burrito out the window to cool it down. the charicters get in and out of the car several times and one even comments while trying to find a way to fit stuff in the cramped trunk

if anyone wants to buy the script/make the movie, ill provide the car

its a buddy action comedy in which 2 secret agents get killed in an accident and 2 other guys (a stoner newspaper cartoonist and a hyper agressive morning radio dj) are forced to take their places/save the day

Re: SVX in a movie!

FYI - Saw a movie poster for this in Chik-Fil-A today. Looked up the website - http://www.fireproofthemovie.com - and saw the SVX in the preview (right at the beginning).

Is it enough to get me to see Kirk Cameron on the Silver Screen? Doubt it. I'm still bitter about the $5 he and Dudley Moore stole from me in '87 with "Like Father Like Son."

But if we get to see the Subie getting put through it's paces, I might reconsider...

Re: SVX in a movie!

Looks like a P.S. I love you type of movie. Did you use a duplicate wrecked svx for the train scene?

Re: SVX in a movie!

The SVX pictured is mine. It is a 5 speed, 4:11, Koni/ GC with most of the tricks from my original racer- very fast. For sale, if anyone wants a nice 5 spd.

No, you won't see it put through it's paces. There's a shot of it taking off quickly, but the shot cuts before all 4 wheels broke loose for a nice AWD burn. That wasn't the shot the director wanted. But I did have fun filming it.

Basically there are just a couple of glimpses, though several clear window shots, so you guys will definitely know it when you see it.

I did not have a duplicate SVX for the train scene. I staged the wreck with my car too (partially dismantled, and some good theatrics). Even the people up close on the set thought it was a wrecked car. They were surprised to learn that I drove it to the set, and drove it home several days later when we were finished.

Re: SVX in a movie!

its probly got some additional value as a movie prop

if you put her on ebay and offered a copy of the movie and a certificate of authenticity youd probly make well more than youd be asking
