I am deeply crushed. I spoke to Mark on the phone a few times before my move to Minnesota and was really lookin forward to meeting him.

Randy I know if you hear anything you will let us know. I will also be watching the Star Tribune, St Paul Press, and what everone else I can find.

Hi Randy, Thanks for keeping everyone up to date on Marks passing. I always find it very sad when another human being dies. But even more when its someone you have had an interest in for a while. Of course Mark doesn;t have any worries now but Sharon and his son will have to deal with the passing and make the best of a bad deal. Glad to see he had some nice grand kids.Please pass along our condolences. Reminds me of the bumper sticker that says"Lifes a ***** and then you Die" Take care, BOBB and Sue

I just spoke with Marie, Mark's daughter, and she gave me the funeral details.

Mueller - Bies Funeral Home
7050 Lake Drive
Lino Lakes, MN 55014

Visitation Friday 4pm to 8pm
Funeral service Saturday 3:00 pm with visit 1 hour prior

I will be attending the visit on Friday, not sure what time and also the service on Saturday. If there are any other that want to go with me let me know.

I also found out that Mark was a retired firefighter from the Lake Johanna's fire department. I feel I have lost a friend and a brother.

Steve, thank you for getting the info -- I was having a little difficulty finding it and didn't want to bother Sharon.

Please let Sharon know that I'll be there in spirit and wish I could be there in person.

Unfortunately, I won't even be able to attend my Aunt's funeral this weekend in Pekin IL -- I found out she passed yesterday, shortly after getting the news about Mark -- needless to say, yesterday was a bummer.

this week has been bad indeed. one of my kung fu students is not returning home from the war, he was the only marine that i assisted in teaching that gave a real intrest in learning more that the basic military training. he worked harder than any student i have ever seen. he could have done anything he wanted, but it was his time.

I just got back from a week long trip. I am sorry to hear the sad news. My prayers are with both families.

I hadn't noticed this thread come back up til now. It's a sad day for the SVX family to loose a member, My condolences go out to both Marks family, and to Randy's family (it's ok Randy, we know you weren't trying to hijack).

May both of those who passed Rest In Peace and their families take some solice in knowing they are in a better place.
