Now THATS a cool key!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2438456677

I've never seen one like that before. I'm debating on getting a red one. It's cool and cheesy, all at the same time.

cool indeed

I also think that key is pretty cool...might have some trouble getting into bars when they think its a real butterfly...how would you get it cut once it was sent to you? I am also contemplating investing in this key, very cool....

i work at true value hardwear, we cut keys. All you need is your original and then the copy, most hardwear stores do it. Make sure the key you give them is the original and not a copy. Every time a key is copied, though the key will still work, there are tiny imperfections. If you make a copy of a copy, it probably wont work. The imperfections compound on themselves. On a side not, though it does look cool. I cant imagine paying 19 bucks fo a key!

I prefer the look of this one, but I will stick to the OEM for now.

They've made those for hondas for quite a while. Personally I think its pretty ricey/wal-mart dragon seatcovers/ghetto fabulous. I'd rather save my $ for a stebro.

The sti key was about $30.00 at the dealer and I was told it doesn't fit an SVX but it does. It's a very heavy key, I like how sturdy it is. In defence of rice without the rice movement we wouldn't have a car like the WRX. Subaru saw the rice market is growing and if they can profit from it they will keep building a quality sports car. Sure, Fast and Furious Floor mats are not my idea of an attractive upgrade to the SVX but this Wal-Mart crap led to the availibity of new performance parts for us like a 6-speed tranny. etc.etc.

The rice statement was referring to the Butterfly style key, not the STI key. The STI key is pretty cool.

the wing and scoops on the WRX are all functional - how is it rice? some older Impreza RS's and Legacy GT's had non-functional hood scoops which could be debated as to whether or not they were rice, but the WRX isn't all show and no go. the WRX was rally racing long before Fast N' Furious came out.

i link the popularity of the WRX, EVO, etc. directly to the Gran Turismo game for Playstation. that really helped to get people interested in JDM cars and that got some of those cars over here in the U.S. i remember seeing that the Skyline GT-R is even arriving soon.
