Reaseal questions

Now that the SVX is back up and running, I think I'm finally going to address my leaky engine. It doesn't leak tons of oil, but enough to make a tiny puddle or stain every night. Plus the whole engine pay is just covered in goop now.

Since this project is my learning car, this task seems extremely daunting. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for me, or knows how hard doing a reseal is?

I was planning on getting the engine reseal kit from Subaru. Are there any other things that I should change out, or need to buy to do this? (Timing belt was just done 5k ago) Should I have the heads machined while I've got it all apart?

Sorry for all the n00b questions.

doing the HG's is not a rookie proceedure and is very daunting. We can do our best to walk you through it... but it is still hard. The rest of the seals are relatively simple to do, it will take you near a weekend to get them all done... But it is very satisfying to know that your engine doesn't leak any oil at the end of the day(s)
