Help for a friend...
I am posting this on behalf of a friend of mine who needs a little help finding a TRUSTWORTHY and COMPETENT Subaru SVX mechanic in her new hometown of Medford, OR.
Anyone up in that neck of the woods have something good to say about a particular mechanic? This woman bought my '94 FWD from me after her '92 went down with some major electrical gremlins. She's in the process of relocating this weekend to her new home in Medford. She gave me her '92 that's been sitting silently in the yard, "just in case" there were any parts needed. It needs a transmission re-build, and the electrical gremlins worked out, but otherwise should prove to be a reliable and fun car. I'd like to be able to give her the name of someone who she can trust with her SVX. Thanks.

Dunno about Medford, but we have a pretty damn good tech at John and Phil's up here in Corvallis... (200 miles or so)
Oh, and I have a good AWD SVX tranny, needs a front pump and torque converter, but the actual transmission part is good...
