Stop Lamp

Can the Stop Lamp come on when I press the brakes (signaling a burnt bulb) and then disappear again? The light came on shortly before I got home and I forgot about it and then when driving back I remembered it but it no longer illuminated when I pressed the brakes. I didn't have a passenger with me to check the lights.

What do you mean though?

If one of them is out, the light will come on. If both of them is out, light will be off. On the other hand, if one or both of them is loose, the light may come on and off.
