You navigate to the text entry boxes using the arrow keys, and then press the "X" button which brings up a cellphone-style key pad on the screen. Then use the arrow keys to navigate to the key pad and press the "X" button to scroll through the letters. Its tedious. There are some people working on more efficient ways to do text entry using the built-in buttons.

was it easy to do? udd you use the hidden browser in that Wipeout game? i saw some How-To's on it, and it seemed like a pain in the arse. also supposedly too slow to even be useful. i'll wait until Sony comes out with the official update i guess.

Yep, used the browser in Wipeout. Its not hard at all to setup, and the browser is not particularly slow. Text entry is very tedious though. I hope Sony is planning on doing something to improve text entry.

Sony will, along with a crapload of aftermarket companies.

Mine's spoofed onto a DNS server here at the house, with the default homepage redirecting to my Winamp Web Interface. I now have a $250 remote that works anywhere in the house

Of course, I could already crank up the tunes from anywhere in the country via my phone, but this is even more absurdly extravagant...

Yeah, the Pro cards work just fine. The PSP doesn't utilize the high-speed features, though, and Sony's DRM-ed ATRAC [connect music store] files can't be transferred to it.
