Help me!!! (again)

Car would not start.
Got codes for o2 sensor and water temp sensor.

Changed out o2 sensors and cleared codes.

Now, still no starting. Just starter motor whining.

Any suggestions?

I fixed it. Just had to jam the gas pedal 10 times.

Let this be a lesson to me and all who drive around for 4 months with the check engine light on (and knowing it was the O2 sensors).

I am too lazy.

With all due respect, I genuinely doubt that "fixed" anything. (I'm lazy, too; I can relate.)

If your car doesn't fire right away, depressing the accelerator while turning-over the engine should get you going, but that doesn't remedy the problem that's causing the hard starting.

Have you replaced the temp sensor yet?. It is vital for cold starts.

Harvey.

The hard start was caused by the O2 sensor failure in my opinion.
Runs fine now. Only one problem. Check engine and Code 37 still poppin' up after a hard acceleration at full running temp.
Left Side 02 Sensor (37).

Here's a quick recap:
1. Check Engine light and Code 37 Left O2 sensor light have been coming on for months now. I ignored it in a cavalier manner.
2. Car failed to start Monday. Showed codes 32, 37 and 21 which is both L & R O2 sensor and H20 Temp Sensor.
3. Replaced both 02 sensors. Torqued to 25ft lb.
4. Cleared codes (I think).
5. SVX would not start until 5th try with 10 mashes on the gas pedal.
6. Check engine light came on again. 37 & 21.
7. Retorqued again to be sure. Cleared codes. Test drive. Check engine light, code 37. No water sensor this time (I jiggled the wire).
8. Cleared codes. Test drive. Check engine light. Code 37.

Still getting code 37. Any thoughts?

Worm, would replacing the temp sensor stop code 37?
