Finally get to test out the AWD!

Yea, I'm soo excited. It snowed down here about 2.5 inches, and I'm off to work. I get to really test out the AWD on my svx. If you can't tell, I really love snow!

Well, later,
Chris

Have fun in the snow Chris. It is sunny and cool here today with no snow in sight.

Don't test it out too hard at first...AWD doesn't help too much after you've gone into a skid. We also don't want to see any more threads with the words crashed, totalled or "new parts car" showing up anywhere.

Nope, was quite dissapointed actually. The snow really didn't stick on the roads Although about 3.5 inches stuck on the grass

But I have a feeling the svx will get tested a lot this winter, as I did buy it for my very frequent snowboarding trips to the mountains.

See ya

Yeah, not much snow here, just a few miles north of you, either.

I'll admit that I may not test it out much, but I certainly won't be as worried as some other folks will be. I just don't want to practice my 4-wheel slide on the freeway! Would like to get it to an auto-cross some day, though!!

Already plenty of snow here (unfortunately). Yoko's were not as good on hard packed snow as I was hoping.

Doesn't matter though as I'll be driving the Justy after this weekend anyway.

I ran my svx on about 4 inches of compact snow/ice on the road a couple years ago when it snowed hard one day. It was only in fwd mode at the time but it held onto the road quite nicely anyhow. drove from puyallup to westport and back with no noticable slipping.
