If you consider that to be an attack, you have a long hard row to hoe in this forum.

We take pride in being able to "needle" people without them getting tense. Sometimes people DO over react to someone who's excited. I don't fully condone Kelli's response to your post, but, it did not warrant the type of response you delivered (whether male or female).

Many of us have eaten, drank, breathed and slept SVX for many years, so, you don't have to sell us on it's great points. We've been living them.

We want to be excited for you and with you, but, it will be difficult with such an attitude.

I appeal to you both to make up and be civil. If not, I may be forced to delete this entire thread. Please don't make me do that.

I'd like a happy ending to this fiasco.

I ate, drunk, and slept SVXes. I even dream of them. Hack, I own 3 in a year. What's my point? I often don't have one. I just know the wiring and taking the SVX apart. I just make comments here and there and be a smart a$$ about it. Again, just another welcome and a sign of peace.

I can see why Ca$h took offense. Michelle's post sounded sarcastic and belittling. If it was directed at me, and if I was new to this forum, I would feel like she just told me that I wasn't good enough to own an SVX.

That being said, both of you certainly got out of hand - but I'm glad to see that you're both willing to make nice.

We are a "family" here, and we have our spats, but, luckily, we usually make up and end up respecting each other more afterwards.

We really are fun people, once you get to know us (except maybe Mr. Pockets -- he likes to start trouble. J/K )

Ca$h, if you've done the research on the SVX, you should go for it. I felt the exact same way when looking for a car; I wanted something that not everybody had at the Univ. of TN (Civics, Integras, the infamous Talons / Eclipses, etc). I'm really glad I made the purchase, and it's held up well so far for a car that's been a fleet vehicle and had at least four owners now, maybe more. Also, you CAN find some remanufactured parts for about the same price as for like a Honda Accord or something.
Also, I would recommend not getting angry, whatever the cause. Not only is it not cool, but if you ever need help fixin' your SVX then you'll find that not too many people would be willing to give you advice.
