Subaruparts.com = ?

Sometimes they're awesome, sometimes they suck. It might have something to do with the weather - or maybe it's the alignment of the planets. When they're good, they're really good. When they're bad, they ruin my freaking week.

I have been planning, for a couple of weeks now, to work on my SVX this weekend. The list of repairs and replacements is long, but with the wife out of town I figured I could spend all of Saturday and Sunday on it.

Unfortunately, that's not going to happen - at least not with Subaruparts.com's help. I've tried emailling and calling over the past week and a half, but they simply won't respond. I have a pretty big parts order, here, and they won't give me the effing time of day.

I want to get SOMETHING on the car done this weekend. So I'm on hold with Ann Arbor Subaru's parts department right now...

...wait...now I'm not. Cripes...they want $115 for the timing belt. Ow. But they have one in stock. So what do I do? Eat the cost? I dunno...

We have an appointment this afternoon for the Legacy's AC. I guess while I'm there, I'll see If I can talk them down a little.
