Re: Cross Country Feeler

Yes, packed an extra EGR solenoid and I should grab another valve while I am at it... I will add it to the list... That makes it 4 more items I need to bring with me.

i can't tell if any of the parts are mine. i guess that's a good reason not to attempt this myself.

Who needs clothes?

If you're really strapped for space, but them along the way. Then you can blend in like one of the locals

Re: Cross Country Feeler

Hey Tom,
I just found this thread. When you head west from Ken's, give me a call when you get close to Grand Junction. I won't even ask you to do anything for me! I'd love for you to see Penny and grab a bite to eat or something.
Since its only 4 hrs down the road, I doubt you'll need a bed, but we have one of those too if necessary. As well as the best elk steaks you've ever tasted!

Have a good trip and drive safe.

Re: Cross Country Feeler

well, first stop was the local convenience store for coffee... On the way, came to quick realization that the weight distribution REALLY needed attention. So, brought it back to the shop, unloaded again... Mike helped me reload it with a few less items. Dropped the engine crane and also the welder/argon tank. I am going to need to source an engine crane in WA for Macgyver's car but worst comes to worse, I can rent one. Welder can be used for a variety of things but looks like the torch I am bringing is going to have to do the job. Leaving bright and early in the AM and should hit Jay's work around 7am hopefully, then its off to OT's to help setup for the carver... More later

Tom

Hey Tom, will ypu be swinging through Minnesota? My SVX has been in storage (f'd tranny for a few years) but I would love to talk to you in person about options. I have a few places I live and could probably set you up for a night or weekend or whatever. PM me if you're coming this way.
