My condolences to both of you. It is always hard to lose someone in the family even when they have had a good life. Take care.

Sorry for both your losses that really sucks. My grandmother on my dad's side died in 96 from cancer when I was 13, and my wife's grandmother died last year like 2 weeks before Christmas

I only knew her for 4 years (1.5 of those I was in Wyoming) but she considered me to be one of her grandchildren, so it was pretty hard

but I was very thankful that I got to know her

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your Grandma, Tom. Mine were both very special and important to me. Their loss was difficult. My condolences.

alright guys, I will be getting on my next flight out tomorrow at 5am and be back on track with the trip. Thank you all for your thoughts, the services were very nice and it was good to continue our family traditions of celebrating a family member's passing than grieving. Thanks again, and I hope to bump into a few more of you on the second half of the trip

Tom left my place late Tuesday afternoon. As expected, he did a fantastic job of resurrecting my '92 pearl. There were a few unexpected curves thrown along the way, but nothing he didn't handle with aplomb. It was an absolute pleasure meeting you Tom - you're welcome to come back and hang out any time. Thanks again for your help, and Godspeed on the last leg of your journey.

Tom passed through Las Vegas Last night. He stopped by y house on the way through. He left my place about 11pm. Hope he made it to the Grand Canyon ok. He was a little tired. Told him he was welcome to stay the night.
