Re: My svx (Norway)

The plan now is to make a spin out on the ice track in 2 weeks,
and use it these winter to make the Legacy work.

So next winter i thinking of.
Take out the engine and change all the gasket,
full service on the engine, and repaint the engine bay,
fix the quarter panel (it will be some bigger but it will look OEM) To make the wheels fit.
Take all the tecyl under the car off, and repaint it under, sandblast all the parts under the car and paint it up.
My plan so far maybe more to came.

I have more pictures, but these what i have on my photobucket for now.

Re: My svx (Norway)

Thanks, the tranny i got have not been used well, and its slip and knock when driving it.
So i must change the tranny again. But its going fast. =D
So i really hope it will work these time, so i can begin at the legacy.

And next winter the Svx will get a full rebuild. And some new quarter panels.

Re: My svx (Norway)

I am hoping to get the car running these weekend.
I have change the tranny again, and because of some knocking and slip on the gear, but then i find out the rear drive shaft have snap out of the inner (that one you insert to the diff) fix that, but i think the axel is getting more and more worn so i think i must find me a new one.

Also make a exhaust clip.

Re: My svx (Norway)

I love the yellow, have a Sonic Yellow WRX at home!

As far as I know, the axles are not side specific for the front. The catalog shows them as being the same for both sides on an SVX and all other associated models like a WRX or STI. Which front axles are used for a swap?
