this is going on an svx. tomssvx says the hinges will hit the tire, holding up the hinge with the fender off and the stock door on. i was wondering if there's a remedy.

I have seen pics in some locker of a svx w/ them installed. A little search might land you a w/ some good info.

There is no way to "make" this kit fit... It is really just that simple. The arches of the hinges extend into the fender liner and will rub the tires

I didn't realize that those things really looked that ****ty. I just assumed that due to the clunky looking fender flares and overall ugliness of it that it must have been a Fiero based kit car. They looked much cooler when I was a kid.

to...Simply leave out step #11 Leave it taped to the windshield with the 2 inch masking tape!
