installed my stereo...
i have the patience of a saint... man that was not fun.. from the minute i started it was a bad idea.. i found that an svx has the antennae for the "mobile telephone" connected with the radio antennae.. provides better reception they say. then having to make my own wiring harness was not fun either.. the cuts on my hands hurt and while i was wiring it up i slipped and smashed my face on the auto shifter.. lol what a day.. but i must say i like it..

man don't hurt yourself, we appreciate your commitment to make the SVX in better conditions and in a way that suits your comfort, but we also care for the well being of the members. be careful, because the SVX is like a cute dog, if you mess around with it, it will transform into a monster and eat you alive....

There is a power connector in the trunk for the old-style mobile radio (the kind where the transceiver goes back there), but you always had to install your own antenna for the mobile phone.

I have to vouch for SVXdc's harnesses... I used one to wire an '05 STi radio into a '90 Legacy the other week, with perfect results.
