Not all royalty is equal. According to my grandfather, now long gone, the coat of arms for my last name can be traced back to the 1500's. It's 3 wild roses for 3 brothers who had a modest castle on the Danube river. When you came floating by you had to pay a toll or be fired upon. A good living to be had while it lasted. The place is still there, along with dissendants of one of the brothers, far, far removed from me by now.

Well, according to cousin Jim, Great-great-great grandfather "Edward", was born here in 1760, the son of 'Edward' that rode here on a boat before that. Edward II fathered Nathan, who fathered Marshal Sr that fathered Chester, ( my Dad) Other than that, I don't know anything. Back 248 plus years, so far......

Jim knows where the graves are. I will be there in may with a camera and recorder! He even has Nathan's 'Will' from 1908.

BUT, I'm still digging up bones.
