Warm Miss

Have an intermittent miss that develops after about 20k running. Never stalls but seems like its going to. Most noticeable when stopped at the lights! When pulling up will idle ok for 2-5 secs then start missing. Also notice it at about 80kmh. Accelerates fine. Starts and runs fine when cold.
Have had 4 different MAF's in, all have seemed to solve the problem for a short while but have produced slightly different effects. Find it difficult to believe I've had 4 bad MAF's in a row.
Any ideas?

Sounds like symptoms of a failing ignition coil. My '92 had similar symptoms, I replaced one of the coils and it runs great.
