Re: Truspeed Catback Exhaust
These guys come and go. Their excuses are almost comical. How can you run a business and come up with excuses like "I've lost all forms of communication" or a relative conveniently gets deathly ill?... **** happens in our personal lives but when running a business you don't have the luxury of sitting on your hands. Truth is, is that these yahoos are lying and buying time hoping we'll lost interest.
After getting burned by so many members I now stay local and go to places I can actually see, inspect and confirm they are legitimate. I certainly pay more with the custom stuff, but you know what? They deliver and I get what I wanted. |

Re: Truspeed Catback Exhaust
Still nothing back from this character....
Now the AMR radiators are sold out (there were a couple on ebay, but they appear to have sold). Looks like Jonny has been working a few jobs this, possible that he hasn't make good on the car things he's supposed to be selling: https://www.facebook.com/Johnybeas Jonny's SVX: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/709361/1992-subaru-svx/ From the Yelp review (calling him a scam artist), I'm not encouraged: https://www.yelp.com/biz/truspeed-pe...salt-lake-city (I'd guess the positive review, just a couple of days after the bad review, was posted by a friend or something...) Come on dude, make good on your ****!! Last edited by svxcess; 11-10-2018 at 06:36 PM. |

Re: Truspeed Catback Exhaust
Man, that sucks big time. Tells you how important is to check someone out beforehand. I never do it either...

Re: Truspeed Catback Exhaust
Sadly, this is far too common in our community. We all need to be more vocal in calling out such behavior when it starts to try to prevent the next person from being taken advantage of as well.

Re: Truspeed Catback Exhaust
Following up on my comments here.
I did get a full refund in the end. I'm glad to see John Beasley following through with this. It does give me some hope. I'm a bit frustrated that I've missed out on the AMR radiators, but also some empathy for John trying to support SVX owners with his small outfit. There seems to be less and less places catering to SVXs, and less new parts left in stock... (Damn, wish I'd bought a set of brand new head lights a year ago...). Cheers, Ian. |

Re: Truspeed Catback Exhaust
Man you have WAY more restraint than me. I would have gone to his place of business and got my money back on the spot....one way or another....
