I know how you feel. I have my second pearly for sale and if I was the richest guy on the world (or Steve Jobs neighbor - think Apple Computers) I would have each of my SVXes with an STI 6MT, STi drive train, and STi Brembos, and a computer to monitor everything (that part I do myself - helps to be a SCADA engineer

). Time, resources, and $$$ is what's keeping me from being SVX king.

Me too, the geek part I can handle, but the mechanical part... I'll try if I am sure I can do a clean job, otherwise I'll take her to one of my many "less geeky but good at what they do" friends and let them do their magic.

Update... I finished the wheel caps!

I will put them on and take new pics this upcoming weekend.

As far as price...
If you don't care for these, I can take them out of the deal and drop the price a bit more:

Optima Yellow Top (putting a good normal battery instead)
Subwoofer box and Amp (leaving Kenwood MP3 player and including OEM cassette player)
2nd set of Murano wheels

$4500

I figure I can try selling the above separately to recoup some of the lost money and make it a bit more affordable for a fellow enthusiast looking for a 5speed SVX.

Hairy, sorry for the late reply, I didn't see it until now.

Car's still for sale, can be seen in Mableton.

UPDATE:
Remove Aluminum Radiator, Optima Battery, Stereo System and Murano wheels and I can drop the price to $3900.

I will install a stock OEM radiator, normal battery and original Subaru stereo at my expense. You'd need to provide tires for the original 16" wheels.

Sorry for the delay on the carfax. My friend only had a one month subscription, not a year as i originally thought. So I can't get the Carfax. I'm sorry.

Did you check to see if someone is running them this month in the Carfax requests forum...I'm assuming that's still active.
