ECHO ECHO ECHO ECHO

Okay, I'll go first. My favorite motorsport is not racing at all. It's observed trials.

You need to go AWD with that thing.

My favorite is F1 because it has the best cars and drivers, and the tracks are interesting. I dislike oval racing with all those left turns. Of all the tracks, my favorite is the Grand Prix of Monte Carlo. Something about the scenery, the tunnel and all the yachts at track's edge.

I lived in Europe when I was much younger and spent some time on the French Riviera. Ah, the joys of French beaches for a 12 year old with raging hormones.

You mean that NASCAR and INDY get their own category, but F1 is classed as "OTHER". What's up with that?

I would have to go with F1, WRC, MotoGP, and WSB. Not necessarily in that order!

GoFast-TurnLeft does absolutely nothing for me.

Talking I'm none too sophisticated

The track I go to promotes NASCAR series, but this ain't no oval track with shiney Big 3 sponsored cars so I put "other". I think they run like a NASCAR B-League there or something, some more regional sub-series of NASCAR. Only national TV NASCAR event here is once a year the trucks run.

Anyway, I don't care about any of that. My point is I like the Figure 8's. And various other crash-oriented events. Most of this stuff isn't on TV, but I now lived a 1/2 mile from the track so this summer Saturday nights are going to be fun!

My favorite racing would have to be outdoor motocross followed closely by indoor Supercross. I suppose I could really get into WRC if the local cable system would carry Speedvision.

Yeah, I have to side with Colin on that one. I picked 'World Rally' and 'Other,' which in my case represents F1.

'Indy' is really represented by two separate series since the mid 90s - CART and IRL.

Oh, excuse me, IRL is now known by some ridiculously long name like 'The Really Exciting Oval Track Indy-Car Racing of IRL, Brought to You by Budweiser or Some Other Crap.'

Yeah, in order to get Speed, I dropped the local cable and went with DirecTV. No regrets. Speed was worth it...at least, during the other 8 hours when they're not playing NASCAR shows. For crying out loud, how much can you say about a series in which every car is the same and they only turn LEFT?

Racing

I watch "F1", "CART", "NASCAR", and "WRC". You can keep the "IRL" and trucks, except the 18 wheel tractors going up Pikes Peak. BOBB

Doing that is not really an option for me.If I would get a dish, I would not be able to watch every Flyers game. Thet are owned by the cable company and I am sure the are not real cozy with the sattelite companies.

So much so, that every car this year must fit into the same template. Sort of Chevforniac!

I also got Sat (Dishnet), thinking I would lose cable, but find myself spending like another car payment in TV reception these days. But Speed, YES (!), it is so worth it. (I'm watching Paris-Dakar right now. Do they still call it Paris-Dakar? )
