WRX sti

Well, I just bit the bullet. Just back from my Subaru dealer. For the first time in my life, I've purchased a car without seeing it, driving it, how much it's going to cost or knowing what colour or options it's coming with, other than it doesn't come with a stereo system. They are only getting 4 of them so I had to act fast. I spent afew hours on the net last night reading about it and realized that I've finally found a car other than my beloved SVX that I had to have. Heck, I don't even know when I'm going to get it, sometime in June they tell me, until then it's me and my SVX. But once it arrives WATCH OUT.

I can only picture it as a street legal race car.

I send you best wishes for fast times.

Yes, I'm going to have to find a place close to Toronto that I can "legally" let the beast loose, and see what it can really do.

This is a real neat site, you can compare the performance of the SVX or the sti against just about any other car, some amazing results for the sti against some incredible cars. Try it out at

The salesman at Faulkner in Bethlehem PA says $38,000 and only 1200 to made / yr. He expects to get 2 per quarter.

$38000

Congrats on your order from what it sounds you'll use it right not just as a commuter car. Personally, for that price I'd go after a 96-97 Lotus Esprit with the V8. That's outrageous! $33k I can see but $38 for platform that starts at under $17k. VW is trying to play that game unsucessfully with the Passat line.

Or 1 and just take care of it . $3500 Timing belt changes every 15k. Drove one last week. I probably would have to cut off my toes if I wanted to drive it with shoes on but you win some you loose some.
