A right bunch of droolers

This is why I feel so at home on this site.

Cars to me are all about shape. I will not buy a car I consider to be ugly. Doesn't matter that it is economical, goes well, whatever, there is no reason I will accept for designing them ugly.

Most of the cars I really like are wedge shaped, but not all.

Some designs are just naturally harmonious and beautiful. The Ferrari 250 GT Lusso comes to mind. Even more mundane cars can be quite eyecatching. Every time I see a 70s Alfa GTV, I walk around and around it, admiring from all angles. Some motors are just naturally right

The SVX is not totally right.
[Dons flamesuit, checks the exit]

From certain angles, it drags your eyeballs in it's direction, very very elegant. From behind, different story. Looks a little like a rhino on wheels. However, before I get reported to the Modulator, I must admit, that the total design philosophy, the four wheel drive, the silky power, the attention to detail, all combine to make the rump forgiveable.

Going out now to drool over my Plum Pudding

Joe

Ditto that. Cars are more than just transportation. My parents are always just "Get a Geo Metro, it'll get you from point A to point B".

DAMMIT! I want a car that I'm in love with! I'm not going to marry a girl just because she's functional, nor am I going to buy a car just because its functional! I want passion in my relationships, whether it be with a woman or an automobile!!!!!!

Joe, I agree with you as well. You should try the LED mod. That changes the rearend view a bit.

That's why we have functional cars and cars we enjoy. Same thing with functional girlfriends and wives.

Joe,
I am a lover of renaissance art. Ever notice the attractive "pear bottomed" women in those paintings?

Lwin - I may have missed this discussion somewhere, could you explain more or point me in the right direction.
Thanks!

You guys don't like the back? I think that's one of the best looking parts of the car.

I like the back too. I think one of the favorite views of the SVX is from the back corner looking forward at an angle. Very nice.

I have been brainstorming some alternate lighting ideas and "updates" so I was just curious what Lwin was talking about.

Totally agree, I think the "head on" view is my least favorite.

Without any encouragement, I can totally agree with your last statement.

The first one, I accept your word on it Andy.

No butts. The whole car looks good.

I did not mean to be disparaging. I only said it was not perfect.

Pretty close, just not perfect.

In the immortal words of Freddie Mercury, who may not have been speaking from first hand experience,

"Fat bottomed girls, you make the rocking world go round"

Yep, Randy, gimme pair-shaped.
