Re: CA Smog .. ???
it's really not that bad, my brother ran e85 for several years in his outback with no problems. obama just bumped us all up to 20%, the only reason i would be concerned is because your lines are probably almost 20 years old. not extremely likely to damage anything but it's better to be safe when you are dealing with pressurized gas.

Re: CA Smog .. ???
I know I've replaced some in the engine compartment.. probably the first to go cuz of heat.. but is it a good idea to do others.. back by the tank??

Re: CA Smog .. ???
would be a good idea, there really isn't that much rubber line on subarus. the likeliness that it will leak is fairly low and the likeliness that your car will blow up is almost nonexistent. gas is flammable but doesn't explode easily. don't want to get you worried about anything, it would be easiest to just fill the tank with gas and forget about it

Re: CA Smog .. ???
I wud like to replace the lines by the tank.. at least those I saw while doing Tom's 15 Min MOD on the rear diff crossmember support bushings.. on the passenger side of the car.. They seemed VeRy OLD!
Is there a certain size for that tubing.. I think I used some fuel injection, high pressure tubing up front.. Do you know the size.. ? Thanks
