Is there any difference between a LR and RR Strut

Through a series of confused and messed up transactions, I ended up with 2 replacement left rear struts and no right rear. As far as I can see the only difference between a left and right is the two mounting points for the brake lines.
They can be easily cut and re-welded. Is there another difference that I'm not aware of.

They are the same except that brake line mount...be careful welding on them as they are pressurized....

The top mounts are not interchangable either

The above should answer your question. It will not bolt up to the holes at the top correctly as the mount is different. Bottom line---IT WILL NOT WORK unless you change the top mount AND the weld location of the brake line mounts.

Perfect. I was just confirming. I'll see what I can do with the part swapping.
