just wondering (pistons)

can you use ej22 pistons to lower the compression of a eg33 so you can boost it ??? i dont know how true this is but hopefully somebody can give me some helpful advice. i really want to boost my svx but i need lower compression pistons to do this, and i know ecutune makes them but need a cheaper alternative.

The search tab is your friend... otherwise if you want to find out about turboing the EG33, go in the engine mod forum... you will find everything you want to know

well i heard many things are similar between the eg33 and the ej22. i just want to know if they are compatible.

From what I've read, the EJ22 pistons will work, but they lower the compression ratio quite a bit...going off memory, but I think it was somewhere in the 7's.
