She is back home.....finally!!!!!!!
Some of you might remember that I posted the near complete pix of my car last month. Till this week, they were just working on the flaws I pointed out. It took another month, but she is finally back home now.... I took her outside and shoot some pix yesterday, so here they are, enjoy!
You can't see me in these pix, but I was wearing a t-shirt and shorts. Keep forgetting it's X-mas time...

I dont usually bother posting in posts like these (tho I read them). B/C really, all I have to say is 'nice' 'great' 'beautiful 'blah blah blah. Nothing really to input....
But I just can't help it here. This SVX is just beautiful, and really has me envious. Enjoy it.

was the paint color matched, or painted directly to the original color code? It looks new, or better.

If you look closely in person, there still are few minor flaws, so it might not be perfect, but I'm just glad that it doesn't have any scratches or scars....or faded surface anymore. As soon as I started photographing my car, I could see some kids approaching, and they seemed very interested... First they didn't even know what kind of car it was. So I went over a little history about the SVX, and how I got mine, how much I paid, what I have done to mine, etc., usual chat. Since I removed the vinyl SVX badges on the side panels near the trunk, and swapped the hood badge to the JDM badge, only place you can find the Subaru name is on the center tail light. No wonder they couldn't guess it was a Subaru! Now I have to think about the tint on the window. There still are left over old ugly tint films on the rear upper side windows. They need to go or replaced with new one. Hopefully this would be done by Xmas.... It definitely felt like "I came home", rather than "she came back home". When I opened the door, I could see and smell of that interior I've been in for years. It definitely felt like home!
