People like that deserve to be deprived of their SVXs, gutting one because of a slipping transmission is pretty lame.

May their Vanagon be cursed with the reliability of... well.... a Volkswagen.

Anyone near that area to look at the car for me? I'm trying to find a decent auto shipper to send it here first before I make an offer. It's going to be a pain with the car not having an engine.

Maybe time for a road trip.

Whats even worse, is now the chances of putting a different engine back into it are slim, as the wiring harness is gone as well. Im not too far from Burien, about an hour.

It looks like the quarter is messed up, that could take quite a bit of work to get right again and make it line up to the trunk.

I saw that. Looks like the tailbar is messed up though? Hard to tell from the pics.

Yeah, it looks like the light might be a little messed up, maybe a couple tabs were broken when the car got hit. The quarter is pushed in about 1/2"-3/4", judging by the trunk and the bumper cover, not horrible, but not fun.

Exactly why I would want someone to look at it for me. But, shipping is going to be a ***** without an engine. Why can I not find a decent pearly near me needing work.
