Climate control panel info needed
What I need to know is this: Where the words are on the panel, is the whole panel translucent, with silkscreened "wood"? Or, is just the lettering itself translucent?
Anyone with a pic of the inside of the panel? If what I'm looking to do works out, I'll do a "how to". I just need to know how the cp is made

It's silkscreen I believe. The back of the panel is green injected plastic. Look HereSecond page, Post 19, 2nd pic.

Thank you for that link.
This means that I can strip the color from the CP, mask stripes, then put in lettering from a label printer. From there, I just have to tap into the light circuit, to light the CP whenever the ignition is on.
