Re: no brakes :(

Go for the stainless lines. I guess your e-brake cable was sticking and dragging long enough to wear out those pads?

+1 on stainless lines. I would suggest getting the shoes and cables new from a Subaru dealer. I know I can get them very quickly.

Where are you having the work done?

Re: no brakes :(

I have a brand new set of SS lines still in the package that I would sell for $90 shipped....

Re: no brakes :(

on the risk of sounding completely stupid....when you say ss lines, does that include all the lines i am asking for or is that just from the emergency brake cables...not the shoes or the hoses?

what is the line for e-brake? or front/rear brakes?

i am having the work done about 20 minutes outside warren county new jersey in pa.

basics of what happened to the brakes: the car has been sitting for about 3-4 years without being driven and all. now i am trying to get her back on the road and with every step forward, i am taking 6 back

i really want to fix her, but it is getting expensive.

I have a parts car with everything you need to. Sadly I'm in Las Vegas, Nevada and the parts car is sitting in Marydel, delaware. I would let you have the parts, but I dont have anyway to set you up with them right now. sorry.
