Is the front jacked up or something? The front wheel well clearance seems delightfully spacious...

Re: New Shoes for the Claret

Umm... what?

There are newer OEM struts in the car, and I agree its higher than I'd like, but if you saw any of my posts, there is obviously an engine in the car.

Re: New Shoes for the Claret

lol from that particular pic you can't obviously see if there's an engine in the car yet........

should replace all of them lol. on the flat, the front end seems to be higher than the rear too......

They have all been replaced. I generally don't do things halfway.

Re: New Shoes for the Claret

I think what they're getting at is that in this picture, your gorgeous car appears as if it either has no engine in it, or is up on a jack.

I love the gold wheels on the Claret. But I love the RX-8 wheels in general.

My bad. I read it too fast and thought you only replaced the front.

It's weird that the front end clearance is much higher at that pic. If other SVX is parked at the same spot will have similar issue?

Looking forward to seeing more new pictures.

Re: New Shoes for the Claret

The other SVX in the picture looks fine and it seems to be parked at a similar angle.

Re: New Shoes for the Claret

I am running stock rear brakes and unknown brand cross drilled front rotors. I have been meaning to replace the pads and rotors. They don't perform as well as I feel they should be.
