That was an epic journey, yo' the man!

While it's still fresh in your mind you should write down some notes. This has the kernel of a novella, like Jack Kerouac's On the Road. But with more spanners and greasy fingernails and recalcitrant trannys.

For the hip hop and R&B generation, as opposed to the beat generation, if you catch my drift.......

You have the material, go for it.

And to think, you could have spent the weekend under the Pearlie in 30 deg weather (garage is filled with appliances for the guest house). Glad to hear you made it safely home from OT&Di's place!

Re: Cross Country Feeler

Just a quick note. Before and after his airport runs, and while checking out my pearlie, I took Tom to two local museums. So here are a couple of pictures. At the Nethercutt Collection, as well as about 125 cars on display, there is a huge room full of self-playing musical instruments, up to and including the third largest Wurlizter theatre organ in the world. So here is Tom looking at a huge Orchestrion, which once took the place of a dance band in a restaurant in Belgium. The other shot is YT at the Petersen, with the Corvette that Briggs Cunningham drove to a class win and 8th overall at LeMans in 1960.
