Brand New OEM Rear struts for sale

I'm selling a set of rear factory struts for a SVX. I bought them a little over a year ago from the local Subaru dealership, I was intending to install them but I ended up selling the car for a price I couldn't refuse. These struts are in perfect condition and have never been installed. I am asking $200 plus shipping, the struts will also be sold as is. I only accept payment through paypal. I hate to tell you, but it is highly likely that the "new" struts will leak within a couple hundred miles of installation (happened to me). What we've (the collective we) found is that the "new" struts have been sitting around on Subaru parts shelves for years.
Probably in your best interest to make it clear that this is a "as is" sale so who ever buys them doesn't come back looking for their money back and a refund on the labor to install them.

DAMN YOU BILL! I was working up to asking for a 2 year 10k warranty for 'em! I'll gladly pay $275 for that!

I just bought brand new rear struts from the dealership... Is there any recourse if they start leaking in a couple hundred miles?

I got the dealership to refund my money - had to give them back to them - and then went with Konis

Subaru has a 1 year unlimited mile warranty on parts. Granted that doesn't cover labor. I had my rears replaced 3 times in a year. They wouldn't pay for the 4th as it was 2 weeks after a year. Even talking to SOA did nothing. Just keep your eye on 'em and when/if they start leaking be it there immediately.

Wow, I didn't know about them starting to leak, I've never heard of that. Well, Since new news has come to light I'll lower the for sale price of the struts to $200 plus shipping, also these struts will be sold as is. I honestly just want them out of my garage, I no longer have an svx to put them in.

if you had all 4 struts id be intersted, but im more concerned with my front struts than my rear ones.
