Take yours to a starter alternator shop and 2 days ,$100-150 later you'll have one that is as good as new, totally rebuilt with quality parts that are as good if not better than the orginals. Not some $250 Indian copper piece of bosch crap!

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I'll just my guy send it out to rebuild. The thing is, my alternator still "kinda" works so I just wanna swap and do a core return.

You can always buy a one and have it or yours rebuild while still driving with yours. www.car-part.com is a good source for used parts if no one offers one here. Trust me though you won't make it far on a good battery and your svx once the alternator goes. I went less than 10 miles before she died completely. That was 8 miles of no accessories running either!
