Hood that doesn't latch and pass door permanently locked
The hood of my new SVX doesn't want to latch. The smaller finger latch works fine, but the main latch won't catch the hood rod. The latch will close, I've pushed it closed with a screwdriver and it locked fine, but it's like the hood's rod doesn't reach far enough down to get the latch to engage. Can the latch be pulled up at all? Any other ideas?
Also, the passenger door lock is stuck in the locked position. To open the door you have to push the lock tab inside up and hold it while you open the door. It falls back into the locked position as soon as you let go. Any thoughts?

Nevermind the hood question, I solved it on my own. Pulled the grill off and loosened the bolts, and the latch can indeed be moved up a bit. The hood latches fine now.

My hood would not latch and it was from the two rubber bump stops needed adjusting. Only a 1/4 turn in and the hood closed fine. No problem with the hood/fender gaps.
