Nasty Weather - Pennsylvania

For those that are in philly region at least, it's getting pretty nasty out. First time since i got my svx, so hopefully i can have some fun in my parking lot at my house. Office is closing early, so i'm going home at noon. Assuming i don't get slammed with traffic, i should be home in time to play in the snow Anyone else go out and do this?

If i get out i'll have the gf stand out in the snow and record some video, maybe of the awd in action

Haha... I miss living just outside Philly... OK, maybe I dont... I do miss snow though... you guys have it easy. All we ever get here is ice and ice storms... I would take snow anyday over ice...

Well we have solid ice coming down right now. It took me an hour and a half to get home from work, and i live 10 miles away. I saw 4 accidents and about 15 cars off the road in ditches and such. One accident appeared to be a 7-8 car pile-up on 202. Not fun at all. Everything is solid ice, weather it's been salted or not, and most has not been salted. I drive from king of prussia area to my home for my commute, and it was a catastrophy today.

Well my AWD works but my tires are bad. It's bad in NEPA. It's kind annoying to slide around with all four tires spinning. Neda get that fixed.

I'm leaving here soon (work.)

I just bloody finished shoveling out my driveway. Oh well.

I was out driving about 30 minutes ago. Aside from having crappy tires, I was having a blast. Open Diff FTL though.

My job is one of the few that is affected by weather that is as much as 1000 miles away from me... I fuel jets at RDU (Raleigh-Durahm Airport). Today about 75% of the flights into Raleigh were canceled. So a good portion of the day was spent sleeping in the fuel truck. It is now 9:45pm now and I am waiting on the last flight to get here... Yeah, the weather sucks much... I want the sunndays back

Subbyru89 had it for a few days, I just finished shoveling it out and doing some corner drifting around Pisstown.

Yeah, I know where you used to live, we stopped at the comic shop a few times to admire your car...

Diving the SVX in our development is fun. I am puprposly sliding it around like a powered sled.

Driving the new Outback in this ice storm is no fun. The VDC and brand new tires won't let you do anything that the 'brain' considers stupid. It drives like the road surface is clear and dry. Also, I don't like the placement of the cupholders in the new Outback. I have to reach around my (rather large) belly too put the cup into the console. Is this Subaru's subtle way to get their clientel to lose weight?
