I have to laugh at that one I'd say most people on my road would know who you were talking about too "the guy with all those Subarus."
Also I'm the guy that is always walking out on the road, or riding out on the road on my bike. Not that unusual a thing to do, you might say - but the locals think I'm nutty. Oh well.
Trevor, I'd love to be able to knock on your door sometime. Knock on mine anytime if you're by! (that's what everyone that doesn't make it through the hairpin curve by my house does).

First name use is just fine. I just don't want to make it easier for certain chemically imbalanced people to find me. Sometimes moderating even a forum as friendly as this one attracts unwanted attention.

This is a rather confusing statement. It would appear that all displayed here on the internet, should not be correctly taken as genuine and “real.” Surely members are not intentionally posting BS, and this site does represent truth and “reality.”

I gather that there are those who consider that any negative comments displayed here, may have some nut with reverse opinions, knocking on their door, weapon in hand! Do we really have such “retards” as members as is stated? As for me, I say what I mean regardless. Yes, I do have a large moat as protection from Northern tribes!

I now have reasons confirmed, even though sad rather than funny. It was never my intent to call for more than christian names and was always aware of privacy issues. I hope there will continue to be the bold few.

However there are useful details which can are not associated with identity, and could very well increase the friendly atmosphere. Having an idea of the personality being addressed is valuable in respect of making fulfilling replies.

not BS, but some take things personally and very seriously. they then threaten with violence (from the behind the safety of the internets) and become harassing with e-mails and PM's. they are known as the "talktuffus cyberretardus", otherwise known as the common e-thug.

if they can get so butt-hurt about some text on a screen, i would imagine anything is possible.

yes. the SVX'ers i've met in person have all been great people, though.

Greetings Al,

My father was short named as such, but he was a "Ralph".

Provided you are correct and there is compelling evidence, should not the powers that be, take action?

It is nice to be able to go to the profile and get a feeling of who is posting some of the information. You should be able to get an age, which sometimes answers why they feel the way they do, or can't repair something. We don't want your life's history, or the order your children were born, just some simple facts about you that you would like to share.

I'm not scared at all to put my info. on the screen as daviegravy has done for me before thinking it would hurt me or scare me or something. I'm not hard to find and I'm not very shy, So anytime somebody is rolling through Akron feel free to look me up. I figure if your intentions aren't good.......Well, That's your mistake and a new chew toy for my dogs.

Thumbs up

Update profile to you all.....One thing about a computer you can hide behind it and pretend who you are, but unless you know one, only words are put forth...

For those that don't understand----anyone can put what they want in words and unless you know them personal you have no clue who they are.....

Hope to meet a lot of members at the reading meet--fingers cross i can make it at those time dates....

I think I have all my info pretty open and out front. If its anyones intention to steal my info/identity from the computer please do not use it because my credit is stretched to the limit you would probably get your feelings hurt and theres seldom any room on my credit cards.
I just wish I could find someone to go to work for me and run around like I do, for example, I got to work at 7:09, at 7:14 I get a call from my oldest child,Kodi screaming that Dillon my second had broken his arm on the bus! I race the 25 miles back to the school and we get the the ER at 7:45, we leave there and hit the orthopedic surgeon to have it set and casted, (in bright neon orange!) we get the prescriptions and arrive home at 3:09! My youngest (Bailey is 8 )arrives home at 3:40! NO REST FOR THE WEARY!
OMG I just told you my childrens birth order PLEASE dont steal them! (unless you have a LOT of extra time and $$$ on your hands!)

Audrey - Sorry to hear about your son breaking his arm. I can relate about the lack of time and money in todays life.

it's so hard these days because of inflation on everything, it's crazy. (in general) people just can't earn enough money to make a living or they make a tight living. and it's hard with all the bills that come forth every month and other expenses - not even going into personal spending..people work two or three jobs just to make ends meet- it's rediculous (can't spell)
