Road Demon is down

Well, I guess it was inevitable sooner or later. The SVX decided it didn't like it's front diff anymore. It hasn't completely exploded yet, But it is screaming loud and starting to clunk. It will not be driven again until right before Reading when Subi-Crosser and Svxfiles have had there way with it. By Reading it will have a new motor, Tranny+diff, Rear diff, and a few tricks and surprises if all goes right. As for what they are? All I'm saying is it will be a first of it's kind for SVXi(in terms of it's setup anyway). Wish me luck Guys and Gals and pray that svxfiles and subi-crosser don't get fed up with it and burn it to the ground. (Road Demon can be a little.......stubborn)

Sorry to hear that Jason. I say drive the pearlie and sell/part the demon!
Well you had the worst luck with it... accidents/mechanical issues....

Let the pearlie be the new demon in sheep cloth

My luck isn't that bad with it now(Read siggy). The Pearly is just too good to be true, But I can't afford to keep it and I could never EVER bring myself to get rid of Road demon. It will sit in my garage and rot before I part it or sell it.

It's still at least 1/3 of a year to reach Reading.

Guess your Road Demon is down for a big break.

Holy crap, What took so long? What happened to it? I've been assured it will be done in time for Reading and will actually only take about 3-4 weeks and the body should be done and painted. It pays to have some good ole boys with skillz(not implying you have none) as friends when your car gets cracked up. Hopefully I'll be able to go down once a week or so and help disassemble and reassemble the Demon, But it's a long haul. I really want to be there to figure out how to fab up what I want to do though, So that's probally one trip down I can gaurantee.
