race fuel? you go from wanting to run e85, then wanting to run race fuel. you can't jump between the two fuels without have a very expensive setup.

740 can support a decent amount of power with regular fuel. e85 not so much, but if i were going to guess i think the blower itself will be your limiting factor on how much power you make.

well to be honest, We don't have E85 in Jersey and I have no idea if and when we will get it. So now I am limited in that aspect... I may just stick to 9psi until I build a motor to handle more...

the engine can handle the psi, it just can't handle all the heat. if you can tune your car, serious try some meth with 11 or 12 lbs. i'd bet the motor will be just fine once you drop the iat's 100 degrees or so.

I am sure I could but to keep it simple and reliable I am gonna stick to 9psi... When we dynoed our cars there was a minimal difference between the 9 and 12 psi pullies...Don't forget I cannot tamper with the software and testing different versions is how I fried the motor to start with

If I am lucky I will get the engine back in the car tomorrow and maybe running by Sat... I am also thinking about losing the A/C and remounting the Alt up top

there's no iat on the chart, just ambient temp. i'm telling you if you cool that inlet temp you will pick up a lot of hp and the motor will last longer.

I know... trust me I have been looking into it. Right now I don't want to throw more at the car I just want it to be running again... I am gonna hold onto my 12psi pulley and I will get into it again. First I have a bigger project I wanna tackle so I can have something truely one of a kind
